Rashad Mahmud

Rashad Mahmud is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham since June 2023, specializing in antennas and microwave circuits. Concurrently, Rashad serves as a University Lecturer at Salahaddin University-Erbil, where responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and MSc students, a position held since July 2016. Additionally, Rashad works part-time as a lecturer at Tishk International University since November 2016. Previous academic roles include Assistant Lecturer at Salahaddin University-Erbil from October 2010 to January 2012 and Coordinator from October 2010 to November 2011, as well as a Laboratory Demonstrator from November 2007 to September 2008. Rashad earned a PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Birmingham (2012-2016) and holds an MSc in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics and a BS in Physics, both from Salahaddin University-Erbil.
