Thierry Darnis

Thierry Darnis is the Vice President of Global Operations at TISSIUM, a privately-owned medtech company that develops biomorphic programmable polymers for tissue reconstruction. Thierry is dedicated to the rapid development and commercialization of a unique biopolymer plateform to address unmet clinical needs in peripheral nerve, gastrointestinal, ENT and cardiovascular applications. Prior to their current role, Thierry served as the Vice President of Operations at Affluent Medical, where they were in charge of the Urology program direction and industrialization / optimization of all products lines throughout Affluent Medical Group. Thierry also served as the Global Vice President Manufacturing & Engineering at BIOM'UP and as the Plant Manager at MEDTRONIC Plc / COVIDIEN Group - Sofradim Production Plant - Trevoux - France. Thierry has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry and holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Lyon.
