Tyler Hansen

Tyler Hansen, CPA has over a decade of work experience in finance and accounting. Tyler is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Tive Inc since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were an Executive Committee Member at Next Series Club, a professionals club focused on redefining the CFO club model.

From March 2020 to March 2023, Tyler worked as the Vice President of Finance at Foxtrot, where they built and led the accounting and finance team, implemented GAAP accounting, conducted the company's first audit, and developed financial reporting packages, budgets, and financing worth over $150M.

Before Foxtrot, Tyler served as the Director of Finance at Snapsheet Inc from February 2018 to March 2020. Tyler also worked as the Vice President of Finance at Akara Partners, LLC from May 2017 to February 2018, where they transformed the accounting and finance function and played a key role in property acquisition and financing.

Tyler was the Director of Finance at TurboAppeal, Inc from December 2015 to May 2017, until the company was acquired by Paradigm Tax Group. Tyler began their career at RSM US LLP as a Senior Associate, providing audit, tax, and consulting services.

In addition to their professional experience, Tyler co-founded CredibleCravings in 2012 and served as the Head of Finance & Operations. Tyler successfully launched the company and managed its accounting on a lean budget. Before CredibleCravings, they worked as an Associate at BOLAR, HIRSCH & JENNINGS, LLP and started their career as an Analyst at Pacific Life.

Tyler Hansen, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Tyler completed their studies from 2004 to 2008, focusing on Finance as their major and Accounting as their minor. In addition to their undergraduate degree, Tyler has also earned certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the California Board of Accountancy. Furthermore, they have pursued further professional development by completing the Advanced Business Strategy course at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
