Brendan Ferguson

Brendan Ferguson currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Tiwi Land Council, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Brendan was the Director at Social Ventures Australia from September 2013 to April 2024, where oversight was provided for a team of 45 consultants on various social sector projects, including strategic planning and program evaluations, as well as establishing a Darwin office to better serve Northern Australia. Brendan’s career also includes experience as a Senior Consultant at Advancy, focusing on corporate strategy and mergers, an Assistant Special Adviser at the Office of the Quartet under Tony Blair, and a Lawyer at Allens, specializing in Commercial Litigation. Brendan began professional legal work as a Paralegal at Slaughter and May in London. Educational qualifications include a MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Melbourne, with additional training in governance for non-profit directors.
