James Burmeister

James Burmeister has over 25 years of experience in software engineering. James began their career in 1992 as Lead Software Engineer at Concurrent Computer Corporation. In 1997, they moved to Metro Link Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2003, they transitioned to US Digital Television as Technical Lead. In 2006, they started at Sezmi Inc. as Director of Software Architecture. In 2011, they joined Pace as Team Lead - Compliance, and in 2016 they became Team Lead - Compliance at ARRIS (following their acquisition of Pace). James also worked at TKLABS in 2016 as Senior Software Engineer, where they were the team lead for the development of a Bluetooth system service in C++ for a host processor on an augmented reality platform. James has experience with Linux, Android internals, and BlueDroid Bluetooth stack, and has integrated various consumer electronics standards into test processes and software.

James Burmeister obtained their B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1986 and 1990. James then went on to receive their M.S.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from the same university between 1990 and 1992.
