Alan Pope

Alan Pope has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alan has held various roles in different companies. Their most recent position was as a Project Director at TM Forum, where they facilitated the digital transformation of communication service providers and their suppliers. Before that, they worked as a Collaboration Manager at TM Forum, driving collaboration and problem-solving among member companies. Prior to joining TM Forum, Alan was self-employed as an Independent Currency Trader. Alan also worked in sales and support at Enventive Engineering, Inc., and as a DFSS Lead Consultant at Adurasys. Alan has a long history with Motorola, where they served as a DFSS Consultant, Product Portfolio Manager, Pricing Manager, and Business Manager. Alan also worked as a Sales Support Manager at Intergraph and a Technical Support Manager at DRG Business Machines. Alan began their career as a Development/Production Engineer at Calan Electronics Ltd and a Development Engineer at Ferranti Ltd.

Alan Pope attended Robert Gordon's College from 1964 to 1970. Alan did not pursue a degree during this time. After graduating from high school, they went on to study at Robert Gordon's Institute of Technology from 1970 to 1974. During their time at the institute, they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Electronic Engineering.
