Medior Scientist Specialist at TNO

Chris van der Ploeg is a Medior Scientist Specialist at TNO since March 2018, focusing on fault, anomaly, and cyber-attack detection as well as motion planning and control for automated vehicles. Chris holds a concurrent PhD candidacy at Eindhoven University of Technology, researching robust fault diagnosis and motion planning for automated driving. Prior roles include Junior Scientist Innovator and Internship Coordinator at TNO, ERS Electrical Placement at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, and various teaching assistant positions at Delft University of Technology. Chris has a Master of Science in Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Notable achievements include significant contributions to Formula Student competitions, resulting in multiple top placements.
