Jan Willem Wagenaar

Jan Willem Wagenaar is a Program Manager at TNO since April 2018, focusing on offshore wind energy R&D, with an emphasis on cost reduction, large-scale implementation, and energy system integration. Prior to this role, Wagenaar served as an R&D coordinator at TNO, overseeing the research line on new technologies related to floating wind, robotics, and innovative wind energy conversion systems. From February 2009 to April 2018, Wagenaar worked as a project manager and researcher at ECN, managing various measurement campaigns for prototype wind turbines. Wagenaar's academic background includes a PhD in Theoretical High Energy Physics from Radboud University Nijmegen and a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Groningen.
