Leonardo Morelli

Leonardo Morelli is a proficient scientist specializing in cybersecurity at TNO since September 2023, previously serving as a Functional Designer at ASML from September 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included designing, implementing, and testing software for cutting-edge machinery. Prior to ASML, Leonardo worked as a Scientific Software Engineer at ALTEN Nederland from February 2020 to September 2023, leveraging software expertise and mathematical models to advance technological innovation. During the same period, Leonardo contributed as a Works Council Member, representing national interests at the Alten European Works Council. Leonardo obtained a PhD from Leiden University in December 2018, with a thesis titled "Travelling Patterns on Discrete Media," and has published five papers while serving as a teaching assistant for several Master's and Bachelor's courses.
