Wendy de Kleijn

Wendy de Kleijn is a Medior Technician at TNO since February 2022, focusing on the development and fabrication of optical coatings for lenses and mirrors used in research and space projects. Previously, Wendy worked as an AIV Technician at ISIS - Innovative Solutions in Space BV, where responsibilities included assembly of flight hardware and control tasks for CubeSat projects. Wendy gained experience as a Student Ambassador at Leidse Instrumentmakers School, assisting at open days and fairs, and completed an internship at Nederlands Lucht- en Ruimtevaartcentrum, developing a prototype mechanism for synchronous pitch adjustment of propeller blades. Additional internships at BluePrint Automation B.V., AMOLF, HWI techniek, and MAVOM provided diverse hands-on experience in production and assembly processes. Wendy holds a degree from Leidse Instrumentmakers School, completed in 2020.
