Camilo Dominguez

Camilo Dominguez has worked as an Analytics Director at TNTP since April 2021. In this role, they are responsible for analyzing nation-wide classrooms observation and student work datasets to inform the company's strategy. Camilo also structures data collection and analysis plans to produce actionable reports for educational improvement projects and advises vice-presidents on structuring high-quality project goals. Prior to their current position, Camilo worked as an Analyst at TNTP from September 2016 to April 2021.

Before joining TNTP, Camilo served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Bryn Mawr College from August 2014 to July 2016.

Their previous work experience includes being a Research Assistant at Yale University from January 2009 to June 2011, where they conducted empirical analysis of survey data from Ghana and Bangladesh, performed Matlab and Stata programming, and conducted literature reviews.

Camilo also worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York from September 2006 to June 2007, and as a Junior Researcher at Fedesarrollo from December 2004 to August 2006.

Camilo Dominguez holds a Ph.D in Economics from Yale University, which they completed in 2014. In 2006, they obtained a M.Sc in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes. Prior to that, they completed their B.A in Mathematics at Universidad de Los Andes in 2004, and their first B.A in Economics at the same university in 2002. Camilo Dominguez began their education journey by completing a B.A in Computer Science from Universidad Antonio Nariño in 1999.
