Lars Ekström

Lars Ekström currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at CarCare and holds the position of CEO and Fund Manager at Almi Invest Mitt since December 2022. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Lars has been the Chairman of the Board for several companies including Football Analytics Sweden AB, TOBE Outerwear, Elevenate, and STREAMIFY. Previously, Lars served as CEO of Peak Innovation and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Grönklittsgruppen AB. Lars's investment expertise was demonstrated during tenure as Investment Director at Inlandsinnovation AB, which focused on investing in growth companies in northern Stockholm. Academically, Lars holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and additional degrees in Ocean & Subsea Engineering and Ocean Engineering from UCL and Florida Atlantic University, respectively. Continuous professional development includes advanced courses in board leadership.
