Roy Yasasindhu

Roy Yasasindhu has a diverse work experience across various industries. Roy started their career at Arrow Electronics in 2009, where they held various roles such as order picker, packer, and product controller. From 2012 to 2014, Roy worked at SF Bio AB as a sales and foyer-host, responsible for sales and customer service at a movie theater.

In 2011, Roy joined Centrum för gestaltning as a Games Workshop Designer, collaborating with children to develop short games and encourage their creativity. Simultaneously, they served as a Student Ambassador and Mentor at Stockholm University from 2011 to 2014, supporting students and promoting the university.

In 2014, Roy transitioned to Toca Boca as a QA Tester, primarily conducting testing on apps, including production, gold, integration, exploratory, and usability testing. Roy also performed localization testing and tested across different platforms, including iOS, Android, and Windows. In 2015, Roy was promoted to QA Lead, assuming additional responsibilities within the QA team.

In 2019, Roy joined Tobii Pro as a QA Engineer, where they worked on different layers of product solutions. Roy planned and implemented automated tests using frameworks like pytest and Mocha, covering firmware and system-level testing. Roy also collaborated with stakeholders to develop and implement test processes.

Most recently, in 2022, Roy returned to Toca Boca as a Senior QA Lead, taking on a leadership role within the QA team.

Roy Yasasindhu began their education in 2007 at Stockholm University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology. Roy completed this degree in 2011. Following that, from 2011 to 2014, they attended Stockholm University and obtained another Bachelor's Degree, this time in Computer Science. Roy furthered their education in 2013 by attending City University of Hong Kong for a year, focusing on Computer Science.
