Heidi Griswold

Heidi Griswold has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Student Liaison to the Feminist Student Organization at the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at Northeastern University. In 2013, they also served as a Leadership Resident for The Harpswell Foundation. In 2014, Heidi joined the Props Run Crew and was an Emerson Behind the Curtain Scholar at the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis.

From 2015 to 2019, they held various positions and internships, including being a Research Assistant at the Northeastern University Anthropology Department, a Development Intern at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, and an Assistant Director, Co-Stage Manager, and Teaching Artist at Far Corners Community Musical Theatre. In 2016, they began working at HopeWorks of Howard County as a Community Engagement Coordinator, where they coordinated and facilitated workshops on sexual and domestic violence prevention.

In 2018, Heidi was promoted to a Community Educator role at HopeWorks of Howard County, where they developed original workshops and managed major projects. Heidi also trained new staff members and evaluated program success. In 2019, they joined Break the Cycle as a Community Initiatives Coordinator, responsible for creating and implementing strategies on Instagram and collaborating on prevention projects.

In 2021, Heidi worked at The People Concern as an Education and Outreach Coordinator, focusing on community education, training, and collaboration to increase awareness of domestic violence. Currently, they are a Customer Service Specialist at TodayTix Group (TTG). Overall, Heidi Griswold has a strong background in community engagement, education, and advocacy, particularly in the areas of domestic violence prevention and awareness.

Heidi Griswold received their Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs and Cultural Anthropology from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Monteverde Friends School from 2009 to 2010, but they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during that time.
