Cheryl Whirlwind Soldier

Cheryl Whirlwind Soldier has over 30 years of experience in education and leadership roles. Currently serving as the CEO of SWA Corporation and High School Principal at Todd County School District, where Cheryl oversees around 350-400 students yearly. Prior to this, Cheryl was the Head Start Director at the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, managing 318 children across 7 sites and 16 classrooms. Cheryl also has teaching experience, having taught second grade for 2 years and kindergarten for 3 years. Cheryl holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, along with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Sinte Gleska University.
