Sean Matley

Sean Matley has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and companies. Sean started their career at Countrywide Plc as an Administrator in June 2012, where they gained experience in managing administrative tasks. In May 2013, they were promoted to Lead Administrator, taking on additional responsibilities such as delegating work tasks and mentoring new team members. From February 2014 to February 2017, Sean served as an Assistant Area Leader, managing teams and driving performance improvement at the Cheadle Administration Centre.

In April 2017, Sean joined Together - loans, mortgages & finance as a Unified Communications Engineer. In this role, they provided support and training to the IT Service Desk, maintained knowledge base articles, and ensured effective communication systems for business colleagues. In January 2020, they transitioned to the role of an IT Business Analyst, where they documented high-level business requirements, mapped business processes, and created use cases and functional specifications.

Sean Matley completed their education in a chronological sequence. Sean obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Literature from Middlesex University between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, they attended Liverpool Hope University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History. Before their undergraduate studies, Sean Matley studied at Loreto Sixth Form College from 2004 to 2007, where they acquired a 3 A-Level's diploma in Classical Civilisations, English Literature, and Media Studies. In addition to their academic qualifications, Sean Matley also holds various certifications, including PRINCE2® Practitioner Certification in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in June 2020), Business Analysis Practice, Foundation in Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, and Systems Development Essentials from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (all obtained in May 2020). Lastly, they hold a PRINCE2® Foundation Certification in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in February 2020) and a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work from Ofqual (obtained in December 2015).
