Oleg Zakharin has a wealth of experience in the software engineering and quality assurance fields. Oleg began their career in 1998 as a Helicopter Mechanic for the Israeli Air Force. In 2007, they became a QA & CAD Integration Team Leader for Dassault Systemes / ENOVIA SmarTeam. In 2009, they took on the role of QA Engineer for Neocleus Inc. - acquired by Intel. In 2010, they moved to Dell EMC as a Software QA Engineer (RecoverPoint). In 2012, they joined IBM as a Team Leader, XIV WW Manufacturing System Integration and Support and a Sr. Software Test Engineer / QA Release manager. In 2016, they became a QA Team leader for Elastifile, which was later acquired by Google. In 2019, they took on the role of Software QA Team Leader for Google. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Product Owner and QA Leader for Toka.
Oleg Zakharin has an extensive educational background. Oleg completed a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Practical Engineer degree in Mechanical Engineering from ORT Colleges in 1998. In 2018, they obtained eight certifications from Coursera in Google Cloud Platform, and in 2013, they obtained a Certified XIV Engineer (CXE) certification from IBM. In 2012, they obtained a Certified XIV Administrator (CXA) certification from IBM. Oleg also holds a Certificate in Aviation Maintenance of Bell AH-1 (Cobra) / Bell 206 helicopters from the Israeli Air Force. Most recently, they completed a Product Management Course from pmsphere - Leading Products to Success in 2022, and a Full stack test automation 2.0 course from ATID Automation by Yoni Flenner in 2020.
