Satoko Katayama has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Satoko started their career in 1997 at Seino Information Service Co., Ltd (SIS) as a Software Developer, where they led development projects and worked with different database systems. In 2005, they worked as a Teacher at AEON before transitioning to a Software Application Engineer role at Applied Materials in 2006. At Applied Materials, they provided support for E3 roll outs and integrated systems with customers' MES systems. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Murata Machinery USA, Inc, delivering software systems for the semiconductor and automotive industries. Satoko then worked as a Business Systems Analyst at Fujimi Corporation from 2015 to 2017, leading software solution development projects. Currently, they are a Field Apps Software Engineer, Principal at Tokyo Electron US, where they utilize their expertise in software engineering.
Satoko Katayama attended Nanzan University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a BABA degree in Information Systems and Quantitative Science. In 1995 and 1996, they also studied Management Science Information Systems at California State University, Fullerton.
