Takeshi Wada

Takeshi Wada is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur currently serving as a Specially Appointed Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University since September 2024. Wada is the Founder and Scientific Adviser of both ANRis Inc. and Wave Life Sciences, where Wada also holds the position of Director. In addition, Wada has been a Professor at Tokyo University of Science in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences since April 2013. Previous roles include Associate Professor at The University of Tokyo from 1999 to 2013, and Assistant Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1999. Wada's expertise extends to the field of Medicinal and Life Science, contributing significantly to research and development through various advisory and founding roles, including at Chiralgen, Ltd. from 2008 to 2012.
