Thor Tolo

Thor Tolo is an experienced educator and entrepreneur, serving as a Lecturer at the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business since March 2020, with a contract extended through 2026 to teach courses in strategic business communication and advanced social media strategy for entrepreneurs. As co-owner of Tolo Events LLC, Tolo has achieved significant recognition, including multiple awards from Special Events Magazine and ILEA. Tolo's previous teaching roles include adjunct positions at Seattle Pacific University and Washington State University, along with various faculty roles at Northwest University, where Tolo oversaw curricula and taught a range of business and communication courses. Tolo's media experience includes anchoring at KOMO Newsradio and hosting shows on Salem Media Group and CBS Radio. Tolo holds a Master's degree in Communication with a focus on Digital Media from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Concordia College.
