Doug Fischer

Doug Fischer is an experienced professional in civil engineering and transportation management, currently serving as Program Director for Government Markets and Vice President of Municipal at TKDA since October 2019. Prior to this role, Doug held significant positions at Anoka County, including Director of the Highway Department, County Engineer, and Transportation Division Manager from 2001 to 2019. Doug's earlier experience includes serving as Deputy Director of the Transportation Division at Washington County, Minnesota, and as Design Engineer/Assistant County Engineer at Anoka County. Doug Fischer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, earned between 1980 and 1985.
