William Lanfear

William Lanfear is a professional special makeup effects artist with more than 15 years of experience and over 70 theatrical productions behind him.

He has held classes, workshops, and lectures at various colleges and theatres across New York on the evolution of theatrical makeup, special makeup effects, and prosthetics development for stage, screen, and medical simulation.

Since 2012, William has been working for the National Center for Security and Preparedness at the University at Albany starting as their Moulage Artist and a Training Role Player Coach. For the last two years he has been working as the NCSPs Training Logistics Coordinator stationed at the New York State Preparedness Training Center. He manages the NCSPs Role Player program and their involvement in training simulations for various organizations and large scale events including the New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services (DHSES), Louisiana State University, NY HOPE, Raven’s Challenge, and the Excelsior Challenge.

William is a graduate of Utica College and has been with Tomahawk Strategic Solutions since the Spring of 2017.
