Peter Coppens

Peter Coppens has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Peter currently holds the position of Head of IT at Tom&Co, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the ICT Manager at Neuhaus Holding NV for 15 years from November 2006 to September 2021. Before that, they held the same role at Somati NV from September 2005 to November 2006. In addition, Peter has experience as a Teamleader Solutions Delivery (ad interim) at Certipost | Basware Belgium from April 2005 to August 2005. Peter also served as the ICT Manager at Overtoom Belgium from March 1997 to March 2005. Peter had the opportunity to work as an Area ICT Manager at Overtoom International Nederland BV, where they focused on merging the ICT departments of the Netherlands and Belgium and defining a new ICT strategy within the central European area from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Peter worked as an EDP Manager at KBC Autolease from May 1992 to March 1997, and as an Analyst-Programmer at Sofico NV from September 1988 to April 1992. Throughout their career, Peter has showcased their abilities in various domains such as managing IT teams, delivering projects, streamlining processes, and developing ICT strategies.

Peter Coppens began their education in 1984 at HOGENT, where they pursued a degree in system analysis. Peter completed their studies in 1986. Following this, from 1986 to 1988, Peter attended Hogeschool Antwerpen, focusing on micro electronics and telecommunications. Peter obtained an A1 degree in this field upon completion of their program at Hogeschool Antwerpen.
