Xiarong Shi

Xiarong Shi has extensive work experience in the field of biosciences and pharmaceutical research. They are currently serving as the Director at Tome Biosciences since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they held various positions including Principal Research Scientist from August 2021 to May 2022, Senior Research Scientist from February 2020 to August 2021, and Research Scientist II from March 2017 to February 2020. Xiarong Shi also worked at Yale University School of Medicine as an Associate Research Scientist from May 2013 to March 2017. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University School of Medicine - Department of Pharmacology from January 2011 to April 2013. Xiarong Shi's career started at UMass Medical School, where they served as a Graduate Student Researcher from 2004 to 2010.

Xiarong Shi's education history includes a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They completed their Bachelor of Sciences degree from 1997 to 2001, followed by a Master of Science degree from 2001 to 2004. They then attended UMass Chan Medical School from 2004 to 2010, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Medicine.
