Yulia Buyanin

Yulia Buyanin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and a strong focus on technology-related issues. Currently serving as Founding Attorney at Tome since January 2022, Yulia contributes to the simplification of contracts through the application of AI and LLMs. Prior to Tome, Yulia was an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, where work concentrated on M&A, corporate governance, and securities law, coupled with active participation in pro bono initiatives. Yulia’s legal career also includes a clerkship with the Delaware Supreme Court and previous roles at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where litigation and executive compensation were key areas of focus. Yulia holds a Juris Doctor from UC Berkeley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and International Relations from UC San Diego.
