Nicolai Prytz

Nicolai Prytz has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability and climate change. Nicolai is currently serving as the Director of Sustainability & Strategy at TOMRA, where they focus on implementing sustainable practices within the organization. Prior to that, they worked at EY as a Manager of Climate Change and Sustainability, where they helped businesses integrate sustainability into their core activities for long-term value creation. Nicolai has also worked as a Climate and Carbon Finance Consultant at The World Bank and as a Climate Change Specialist, contributing to the formation of public-private partnerships. Earlier in their career, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society and worked as a Climate Change and Energy Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Nicolai Prytz holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Climate and Society from Columbia University, which they completed from 2012 to 2013. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Oslo between 2006 and 2009. Nicolai also participated in an exchange semester at the University of California, Berkeley in 2008, studying Sociology.
