Barto Wijlens

Barto Wijlens has extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement, primarily within the technology and automotive sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Hardware Development and Global Supply Chain at TomTom since August 2010, Barto leads the global supply chain for hardware products, overseeing manufacturing primarily in Asia and delivery to B2B and B2C customers. Previous roles at TomTom include Director of Supply Chain EMEA and various managerial positions focused on sourcing and procurement of semiconductor solutions. Prior to TomTom, Barto worked at DAF Trucks N.V. in project management and commodity management roles, gaining expertise in international sourcing and project coordination. Barto's education includes an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente.
