Michael Harrell

Michael Harrell is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as SVP of Engineering Maps at TomTom since December 2021, Michael previously held roles at Amazon, including Senior Manager of Software Development, where leadership encompassed various international and publishing initiatives. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Microsoft as Principal Software Engineering Manager, responsible for the Streetside project and innovative retail solutions. Michael's career also features roles as Director of Engineering at Perceptive Informatics, Lead Developer at Avaya, and Manufacturing Engineer at General Motors, alongside a foundational role with the United States Air Force. Michael holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Physics from Kettering University.
