Daniel Lelchuk

Daniel Lelchuk is an accomplished cellist and music educator with a diverse range of experience in the classical music field. Currently serving as the Cello Lead at tonebase since November 2022, Daniel also holds the position of Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College and hosts the podcast "Talking Beats with Daniel Lelchuk." In addition to these roles, Daniel has been the Assistant Principal Cellist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since November 2013 and has performed with several music festivals and orchestras, including LAKES AREA MUSIC FESTIVAL, HAWAII INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL, and SALOME CHAMBER ORCHESTRA INC. Furthermore, Daniel created and hosted "LPO Radio Hour" for WWNO, celebrating New Orleans' classical music traditions. Daniel earned a performance diploma in Music from Indiana University Bloomington between 2007 and 2012.
