Chris Burns has over 20 years of experience in sales and project coordination. Chris began their career in 1996 as a Project Coordination Specialist/Financial Management at NBCUniversal, Inc. In 2000, they moved to Bureau Veritas as a Senior Project Coordination Specialist, where they developed long-lasting relationships with the Architectural, Engineering and Professional Services firms in Hawaii. In 2005, they joined Deltek, Inc. as a Sales Engineer and Global Product Support Analyst. In 2010, they became a Director of Major/Strategic Account Sales, Director of Sales - Western US and Canada, and Enterprise Sales Executive at Newforma. In 2015, they were appointed Sales Manager at Panzura. In 2016, they were promoted to Managing Director of North American Sales at Planview LeanKit. In 2017, they became a Senior Account Executive at Sightlines, a Gordian company, which was acquired by Fortive in 2018. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Vice President of Sales at Tonic Document Management (TonicDM).
Chris Burns obtained their BA in English and Communications from the University of California, Davis in 2001. Chris previously earned their AA in English and Communications from American River College in 1999. Chris graduated from Bishop Amat HS prior to that.
