Kathy Tonner

Kathy Tonner is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust background in nursing and education. Since September 1991, Kathy has been serving as a registered nurse and certified school nurse at CPS, focusing on areas such as asthma management, seizure precautions, medication administration, and support for students with diverse needs including diabetes, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, autism, and bipolar disorders. Previous experience includes working as an RN at Rush University Medical Center from 1984 to 1990. Kathy has also contributed to nursing education as an LPN Instructor and Med Lab Instructor. Academically, Kathy holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Spanish from Saint Louis University, along with a Certificate in School Nursing from the University of Illinois Chicago and entrepreneurial training through various programs.
