Brett Valdez

Brett Valdez has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Communications Director & Public Information Officer for the Tooele County School District. Prior to this, they worked as an Insurance Agent representing American National with the company American National. Brett also served as a Junior Partner at Financial House, where they were responsible for providing various insurance protection and financial planning services. Before that, they worked as an Associate at Managed Wealth Financial.

Brett's earlier work experience includes roles such as Corporate Marketing Manager at Chartway Federal Credit Union and Regional Marketing and Business Development Manager at HeritageWest Credit Union. Brett also served as a Board Member at the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce, where they oversaw and increased participation and sponsorship for key events. Brett's earlier experience includes positions such as Marketing Analyst at Tooele Federal Credit Union, Special Projects Manager at Keeper of the Flame Foundation, and Administrative Coordinator at Oquirrh Institute.

Throughout their career, Brett has demonstrated skills in marketing, communications, research, and team management.

Brett Valdez graduated from The American College of Financial Services in 2022 with a degree in Financial Services Certified Professional. Prior to that, they attended Utah State University from 1997 to 2003 where they earned a BA in Public Relations and Marketing. Brett completed their high school education at Tooele High School.
