Sam Meneghin

Sam Meneghin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Sam started their career at Placer Dome Inc, where they worked in various Human Resources, Accounting, and general office roles while attending university. Sam then joined QLT Inc. as an HR Consultant, focused on Talent and HRIS.

In 2006, Sam joined Vancity, where they held multiple roles over a span of 14 years. Sam served as a Senior Human Resources Leader, HR Executive Lead for Strategic Projects in Small Business Banking, HR Operations, Service Delivery, Talent, and HRIS Technology Lead. Sam also served as the Director of HRIS Program, Total Rewards, and Talent, as well as the interim Director of Human Resources. Throughout their tenure at Vancity, Sam demonstrated strong leadership and played a crucial role in designing and implementing strategic HR initiatives.

In 2008, Sam briefly worked at ICBC as a Senior Consultant for SAP HR.

After leaving Vancity, Sam joined VRIFY as the Director of Human Resources, where they were responsible for designing and implementing people and culture programs for the startup tech company. Sam played a key role in recruiting the executive leadership team and critical roles for Engineering and Product.

In 2022, Sam became an Advisor at Vessi, providing guidance and support. Sam also served as an Advisor at TOOLBX, an early-stage ConstructionTech Startup, before taking on the role of VP of People & Culture. At TOOLBX, Sam was an executive team member and acted as a trusted advisor to the CEO and their direct reports. Sam contributed to the company's success in becoming an award-winning workplace and a leading SaaS Ecommerce solution in the Lumber Yards and Home Hardware industry.

Additionally, Sam has served as a Mentor at Monday Girl and a Member at Chief, further showcasing their dedication to supporting and guiding others in their professional journey.

Sam Meneghin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Simon Fraser University between the years 1996 and 2000.
