Kristin Saunders

Kristin Saunders began their work experience in 2010 as an intern at n55. Kristin then worked as a designer at atelierjones llc from 2007 until 2011. In 2011, they became a Designer/Project Manager at Rebar Art and Design Studio, where they stayed until 2014. During their time there, they also co-founded the Post Car Travel Agency, a travel agency specializing in bicycle and transit adventures. In 2014, Kristin joined Gehl - Making Cities for People as a Project Manager. Later that year, they became the Principal Transportation Planner at the City of Pittsburgh, a role they held until 2019. Currently, Kristin is the Senior Planner and Pittsburgh Office Director at the Toole Design Group, where they have been working since 2019.

Kristin Saunders attended The University of Kansas from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BARCH). In 2004, they also participated in a year-long study abroad program at Edinburgh College of Art, focusing on Architecture. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Licensed Architect, PA from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
