Trung Vo, PE, AICP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of transportation planning and engineering. Trung is currently working as the Denver Office Director at Toole Design Group, where they lead and manages the growth and operations of the office. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Planner and Engineer at Toole Design Group, providing multimodal transportation planning and design services in Colorado and beyond. Trung has also held the position of Denver Office Deputy Director and Associate at Toole Design Group.

Before joining Toole Design Group, Trung worked as an Enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Census Non-Response Follow-Up Program. Trung also served as the Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Manager for the City of Raleigh Municipal Government, where they managed various programs and initiatives related to biking and walking. Trung started their career at Kimley-Horn as a Transportation Planner and Engineer, specializing in bicycle and pedestrian plans and long-range transportation planning. Trung also worked as a Transportation Analyst at Kimley-Horn.

Trung gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they led a team in collecting vehicle occupancy data for a study on HOV to HOT lane conversion. Trung also worked as an Engineering Intern for the Federal Transit Administration as part of the Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups.

Trung Vo, PE, AICP completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2009. Trung later pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Systems Engineering at the same institution from 2010 to 2011.

In addition to their academic achievements, Trung also holds several professional certifications. Trung obtained their first Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors in December 2014. Trung then received a second PE certification from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in May 2018, followed by another PE certification from the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS) in June 2019.

Furthermore, Trung acquired the Certified Planner designation from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) in July 2016. Trung also became a League Certified Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists in March 2016.
