Gregoire Gensollen oversees all aspects of film, television and virtual reality series financing, strategic planning, and operations for the company. His role includes structuring and overseeing first look and output deals with financiers, foreign and domestic partners, as well as establishing strategic partnerships with new technology firms.
Prior to TTE, Gensollen was SVP International Distribution & Strategy at FilmNation where he ran strategy and film finance and oversaw releases for more than 60 titles that earned $1.3 billion at the box office and numerous Oscar nominations; such films included The King’s Speech, The Imitation Game, Nebraska, Room, Mud, Looper and Magic Mike. He closed loans and helped structure the financing for The Founder and Arrival.
Prior to FilmNation, Gensollen was VP International Sales & Planning at Lionsgate where he handled international strategy for film and television as well as LG UK’s acquisitions and local productions.
Gensollen earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business, and was featured as one of Hollywood’s New Leaders by Variety in 2012.
