Arvind Ganga has a diverse work history that includes roles in software development, management, and the music industry. Arvind began their career at Thuiszorg Nieuwe Waterweg Noord as an Application Administrator in 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at OGD as an IT Professional, managing system, application, and network administration for various clients. In 2002, they briefly served as a System Administrator at Nederlands Loodswezen B.V.
In 2004, Arvind joined TU Delft Library as a System Administrator before transitioning to TOPdesk, an international software company, in 2005. At TOPdesk, they held multiple positions including Software Developer, Scrum Master, Software Development Manager, Development Lead for the Netherlands, and Development Team Lead/People Manager. Arvind managed TOPdesk's international software development department, overseeing recruitment, processes, people management, methodologies, and technical innovation. Arvind also served as the AI Guild Host, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to integrate AI into TOPdesk's product.
Additionally, Arvind pursued their passion for music during this time. Arvind worked independently as a Musician, playing improvised abstract music on guitar, and handled concert booking and promotion for international and national acts in the improvised and experimental music scene.
In 2015, Arvind co-founded the artist collective Helicopter, managing artist studios and a performance space. Arvind served as a board member and founding member of the collective.
Arvind Ganga earned their MSc degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology, where they studied from 2001 to 2010. Arvind also obtained additional certifications, including "Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP)" from Kanban University in July 2023, "Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I)" from Scrum.org in July 2022, and "Machine Learning" from Coursera in January 2019.
