Matthew Caldwell has a long and varied work experience. Matthew began their career in 1997 as a Security Analyst at Intel, then worked as a tech guy for the State of Georgia and a Special Projects Manager for the Georgia Department of Administrative Services. In 1998, they took on the roles of Chief Security Officer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Chief Executive Officer at GuardedNet. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at IBM Tivoli as Chief Security Architect and at Micromuse as Chief Security Architect. Matthew then served as Chief Technology Officer at Digitalstakeout from 2009 to 2012 and at Infoweapons Inc. from 2007 to 2010. Finally, they are currently the CEO and Founder of Tophat Security, where they are responsible for inventing the Cyber Supply Chain Security product called Due Diligence X and leading large-scale technology projects.
Matthew Caldwell has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Harvard University, obtained in 2018. Matthew also has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Gaston College, obtained in 1997. Matthew has additional certifications from ISC^2, such as the CISSP.
