Edoardo Carlesi

Edoardo Carlesi is a Machine Learning Specialist at TopNetwork S.p.A. since April 2021, focusing on the analysis of multispectral satellite data for land use identification and the development of regression algorithms for real estate price prediction. Prior to this role, Edoardo served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, working on machine learning applications in theoretical cosmology, and at Leibniz-Institut für Astrophysik Potsdam. Edoardo has an extensive academic background with a Dottorato di ricerca in Astrophysics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and prior degrees in theoretical physics from Università degli studi Roma TRE. Additional experience includes teaching and research positions in numerical cosmology, software development for cosmological simulations, and Java development for a software project.
