Robert Stokes

Robert joined the firm in 2007 as President of Topographic Mapping Company in Oklahoma City, OK. He brought years of GIS and IT management experience to the company from both the public and private sector. Almost immediately, Robert initiated LandScape, the company’s web-based GIS presence and promoted its use internally and externally. In 2011, Robert was appointed GIS Manager for Topographic Land Surveyors, relocated to Fort Worth, TX. There, Robert further developed the company’s capacity to meet the growing GIS needs of the emerging Eagle Ford shale play. Since that time, Robert has not only expanded the size and competency of the GIS department, but has also cooperated and collaborated with both CAD and IT staff to better integrate all three facets into Topographic’s internal workflow and client services. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Post-graduate Certificate in GIS, both from Oklahoma State University. He is also recognized as a GIS Professional (GISP) by the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI), an Esri Certified ArcGIS Desktop Professional, and an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS).
