Dr. Salman Zaidi

Dr. Salman Zaidi is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in the fields of data processing, system engineering, and research. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Torc Robotics since October 2022, Dr. Zaidi previously held roles at Bosch, focusing on R&D in Vision Engineering Systems and software/system testing. With a background in electrical engineering and systems engineering, Dr. Zaidi has made significant contributions to the development of XIL tools, automated processes, and algorithm development. Academic accomplishments include a PhD from the University of Kassel, where research focused on fuzzy logic systems and system identification, as well as prior experience as an Assistant Professor at Iqra University, where coursework and curriculum development were key responsibilities. Dr. Zaidi has also published research in prestigious national and international forums.
