Barbra Ruffin-Boston

Barbra Ruffin-Boston, SPHR, is a seasoned professional in career transition services and human resource development, currently serving as a Senior Career Coach at Torchiana since April 2009. With extensive experience as an independent consultant since 2005, Barbra has focused on career transition and management, implementing customer relationship improvement programs and facilitating various certification sessions. Prior roles include Facilitator at Maritz, where Barbra analyzed customer data for performance improvement, and Facilitator for SPHR and PHR certification at the Northern California Human Resources Association. As the Director of Training & Organization Development at the San Francisco Chronicle from 1995 to 2004, Barbra implemented organization-wide training initiatives and career development programs. Barbra holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Indiana University Bloomington.
