Dean Harel

Dean Harel has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Dean is currently working as a Full Stack Engineering Team Lead at Torii since November 2022. Previously, they worked at Healthy.io from February 2020 to April 2023, where they held two roles: Mobile Group Lead, iOS and iOS Team Lead. In these positions, they were responsible for mobile architecture, building and leading mobile engineering teams, and maintaining hands-on involvement. Before that, they worked at Vimeo as an Engineering Team Lead & iOS Developer from May 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they led a multi-disciplinary team, collaborated with the product manager, and implemented data-driven decision-making processes. Dean also played a key role in recruiting and fostering the growth of mobile engineers. Prior to Vimeo, Dean worked at Magisto, where they held various roles including Engineering Team Lead & iOS Developer, iOS Developer, Senior Mobile QA Engineer, and Software QA Engineer from 2013 to 2019.

Dean Harel has an M.A. in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. Dean also holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "The Complete Node.js Developer Course (3rd Edition)" from Udemy in August 2022 and in "Software Product Management Specialization" from Coursera in April 2016.
