Laurie Pawlitza

Laurie Pawlitza is a Partner at Torkin Manes LLP, specializing in family law matters since August 2006, with significant experience in court representation and arbitration. Previously, Laurie served as Treasurer of The Law Society of Upper Canada from April 2003 to June 2012, the organization's highest elected role, after holding positions as Chair of the Professional Development and Competence Committee, Vice-Chair of the Government Relations Committee, and director on the board of LawPRO. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan, where education was completed from 1977 to 1983.
