Fady Algyar

Fady Algyar is a Computer Vision Engineer at The Toro Company since June 2023 and a Graduate Researcher at the AI4CE Lab at New York University since August 2022, focusing on advanced robotic perception systems for self-driving vehicles. Previously, Fady served as a Visual SLAM Engineer at Nokia Bell Labs and held the position of Edad Fellow at McKinsey & Company. Fady's experience includes a Global Entry Level Operations role at CEMEX, where technical courses in cement manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles were completed. Fady also interned as a Process Engineer at Unilever, utilizing Statistical Process Control to enhance soap quality. Fady holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo, supplemented by experiences at Simon Fraser University and Utrecht University in nanotechnology research.
