David Wetherald

David Wetherald's work experience is as follows:

- From 2018, they retired to their cottage and focused on personal activities such as golf, travel, and building cottages.

- From 2004 to 2018, they worked at Toromont Industries Ltd, where they held various roles including VP of HR and Legal, Corporate Secretary, and General Counsel. David was responsible for managing a human resources team, handling legal affairs, and leading several initiatives such as acquisitions, risk management, compliance hotline, and corporate real estate.

- From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Headline Media as VP and General Counsel. David joined a new management team aimed at turning around the company.

- From 1991 to 2002, they worked at Torstar Corporation as Director of Development and Legal Affairs.

- From 1996 to 2001, they worked at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP as an articling student and then as a lawyer. David focused on corporate, commercial, and securities work. David was known for being well-organized and an excellent closer.

David Wetherald began their education journey in 1979 at the University of Toronto, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science. David completed this program in 1982. After that, they attended Western University from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, specializing in Corporate and Commercial law. Later in 1996, David enrolled in the Executive Development Program at the Ivey Business School at Western University, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
