Ryan Xavier

Ryan Xavier currently serves as a Professor at Durham College in the Sport Management and Recreation and Leisure programs, starting in September 2024. Before this, Ryan held various management roles at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre since December 2014, culminating in the position of Field House Assistant Manager. Additionally, Ryan has been President of Ontario Basketball since November 2021 and Head Coach for Men’s Tri Campus Basketball at the University of Toronto Scarborough since September 2021. Ryan’s significant experience includes serving as Sport Manager for the 2022 Ontario Summer Games, roles with Flow Experience Inc. related to major events, and various positions in basketball operations and management. Ryan's educational background comprises several certificates and degrees from institutions including Smith School of Business, Ontario Tech University, and Durham College, focusing on governance, not-for-profit leadership, sports business management, and health and wellness.
