Avi D'Souza

Avi D. is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in policy development and international outreach. Currently serving as the Communications Manager for the Toronto Region Board of Trade since August 2020, Avi D. also founded and leads Not Just Tourists Toronto, a movement that mobilizes over 3,000 volunteers to send medical supplies to 82 countries without external funding. Previously, as the Global Director of Communications for UOSSM Intl. from January 2016 to August 2020, Avi D. directed a multinational communications team and implemented a comprehensive global strategy for a prominent humanitarian organization. Avi D.'s educational background includes an Hons BBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship from Wilfrid Laurier University, a certification in Machine Learning from BrainStation, and progress in the CFA Program, having passed Level II.
