Jon E Worren

Jon E Worren has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jon E started their career as a Practice Director at Riverdale Partners, where they provided strategic planning, marketing, branding, financing, and international expansion services to clients. Jon E then worked as a Management Consultant at Corren Consulting.

In 2009, Jon co-founded ClearSky Advisors, a research and advisory firm specializing in renewable and sustainable energy. As the President, they offered syndicated research services and customized consulting to clients in the industry.

Jon also served as an Instructor at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, where they developed and facilitated a course in Business Model Design. Jon E focused on integrating Steve Blank's Customer Development philosophy and Alex Osterwalder's Business Model Generation framework into a Lean Startup approach.

At MaRS Discovery District, Jon held various roles, including Entrepreneur in Residence, Sr. Director & Entrepreneur in Residence, and Lead Executive for Venture & Corporate Programs. Jon E was responsible for developing entrepreneurship education programs, providing training to innovators at large organizations, and launching a $32 million entrepreneurship program.

Jon was also involved with Purpose & Impact as a Principal, Code for Canada as a Board Member, and WE.org as the Head of Partnership & Consultancy, Entrepreneur In Residence, and WE Social Entrepreneurs. In these positions, they were responsible for designing and launching programs for social entrepreneurs, providing impact measurement advice, and designing business innovation processes.

Most recently, Jon joined the Toronto Region Board of Trade as the VP Strategy & Enablement for the World Trade Center - Toronto.
