Farshad Habibi, Ph.D., P.Eng., PMP, serves as a Senior Structural Engineer at the Toronto Transit Commission since June 2019 and is also a College Professor at George Brown College, instructing courses on the design of steel, timber, and reinforced concrete structures. Previous experience includes roles as Project Manager and Project Engineer at Telecon, Structural Engineer at Netricom, and Research Assistant at McGill University focused on high-performance concrete and seismic research. Farshad's earlier academic roles involved teaching structural engineering courses, including finite element methods and modeling techniques. Educated at McGill University with a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering, Farshad also holds a Master’s degree from Iran University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
